my week
this last week has been very eventful to say the least. lets start on tuesday……just kidding, who cares what my life was like last week. blogging for the sake of blogging is not me. as my friend josh mayo says, “Do people really need to be heard so badly that they would blog every day?” love it. what i do want to do today is wake my creative conscious up. ever been so busy doing creative things that all your creativity turns to mush….and all your ideas start sounding and looking the same? creativity is such a relative term. when we say the word creativity we usually think of art, graphics, music, ideas, movies, etc. but i think creativity happens all the time, even to people who aren’t “creative”. for instance take the baseball coach who spends time telling his 8 year old athletes how to swing the bat level. he may tell them and show them 19 different times and ways before they get it. take the stay at home mom who plans her whole day around when her kid takes a nap. what needs to be cleaned first. take the office assistant who spends all day answering the phone and trying to find a new internet game to play in down time. take me for example, spend all week every week trying to do something or create something different, something with taste, style, and attraction. we are all creative people, all trying to do life better and more efficient. is this a trend? i think not, this was by design. God is a creative God, think of all the music, art, design, and perfection He has created through us. this week i am going to allow God to be more creative through me, taking off my limitations of my mind and my creativity and opening myself for His design and His work. my week is going to be productive.
